Blast from the Past

This is Gramma and I at the Indiana State Fair in 2007. This is the very first quilt that I had ever made (with the help of Gramma)!

My dad’s side of the family has been actively involved with 4-H, so I made this quilt for my Grandma Rice.

On a more recent note, we have finished quilting two of our runners from our post “God’s Plan, Not Mine.” Here is a time lapse of my free motion quilting. I just started using the gloves, and they really help with grip and control over the material!

I only have about two more weeks of my undergraduate, so hopefully I’ll be able to spend more time quilting! We are looking forward to sharing more of our projects with you and would love to features your projects too!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
