It’s Christmas season!! An exciting time of the year with family, gifts, and food… Oh, so much food. However, with the festivities may come some dread and anxiety. Whether your feelings for the holiday season is joyful or sorrowful, I pray that you take some time to reflect on the miracle of Christ’s birth. May God bless you during this Christmas season with time to enjoy life and quilting!
I find this season to have so many fun projects that need to be done to decorate my apartment. This is my first Christmas tree on my own, so naturally, I had to make a tree skirt. I found this amazing nativity fabric at a local quilt shop, and I designed the tree skirt around this fabric.

I used traveling for Thanksgiving as an opportunity to try hand quilting. It is not my best work, but I believe I will get better at hand quilting with more practice.

To finish my Christmas tree, I made cork angels. Here are some examples of my ornaments.
To make this fun craft, all you need are some corks (can buy a huge bag on Amazon for cheap), different types of ribbons, an assortment of buttons, wooden balls (I bought a bag from Hobby Lobby), and hot glue. This would be a fun project for the whole family!
Stay tuned for my next Christmas projects!
