I am in a creative slump. Have you ever been in a season where you are really busy, have lots of projects that you want to work on, and then get nothing done? That is where I am in my quilting journey right now. There are a couple of projects sitting on my cutting table and multiple stuffed in random corners of my sewing room and in my mind. Time never seems to be anyone’s friend, so how do we balance the joy of quilting (or whatever you enjoy doing), work, sleep, eating, reading our Bibles… life? Truth be told, I am still trying to figure it all out. Calling on a friend out there if you have advice!
In this busy time, I want to keep writing my blog and working on my creativity. Therefore, I am going to try smaller posts with projects (if I have them), advice, Bible study, or thoughts on notions. If you have thoughts, projects, or encouraging words, please reach out. I would love to hear from you!
Charm Pillow on Point
Bellow is two charm pillows that I made over a year ago. They were quick and easy pattern by Missouri Star Quilting Company. They have a tutorial video and a pattern on their website. I sewed the first one by hand while my sewing machine was at the doctors, and the second one was on the machine (way faster!).

On a life update, congratulations to both of my baby sister’s for graduating! Alexis graduated college from Butler University with a Bachelor of Science in Middle-Secondary Math Education and a minor in French. She has moved across the pond to England and will be teaching there! Sierra graduated high school from Benton Central and will be attending Saint Louis University to study nursing! I could not be prouder of anyone than these two God-fearing, loving, and full of life girls!
